Melissa’s bio: Melissa Glowinski is a full time colt starter, coach, and Belief Re-Patterning practitioner working out of Sawatzky Equine Services in Busby, Alberta. A diverse equestrian background has led her to the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing, which she has competed in at the upper levels for the last seven years. In November 2023, her equine partner, Jessica Rabbit, carried her to the EXCA Open Mule Division World Championship — one of the pair’s many career wins. She runs a successful obstacle racing program which liberally applies the tool of Belief Re-Patterning to support each individual’s goals. Though horses are the way it has played out for her, Melissa's greater mission is to support herself and others in creating a supportive relationship to competition, in horsemanship and life!
Miranda’s bio: Miranda physiotherapist with a specialized interest in equestrian sports. Having graduated from the University of Alberta in 2020, she has gone on further to obtain certifications in pelvic therapy, concussion and vestibular training, and dry needling. Furthermore, she has been certified in horse rehabilitation through the animal rehab division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She strives to understand and aid riders in bettering themselves in and out of the saddle through both in saddle and off saddle assessment. An avid equestrian herself, when she is not at work, she enjoys riding her Percheron X Stetson or hanging with her canine companion, Bugsy.
Desiree’s bio: Desiree is an avid equestrian, yoga teacher, and registered massage therapist. Her background includes functional range conditioning, group fitness, meditation, and she is a retired veterinary technologist! Through her business, Mane Equestrian Athletics, she supports the equestrian community by sharing and educating on the importance of rider fitness and wellness. Outside of work, Desiree is gearing up for show season with her gelding appaloosa, Hunter.
